Meistersinger is a German watch manufacturer, which is in twelve years only managed to gain a reputation and become one of leaders among manufacturers of watches with a single needle. Their watches mainly reflect the simple design and display time in the simplest possible way. They found inspiration in sun watches for this type of watches.
The new model that they has presented this year at the Basel Fair is Pangaea Day Date, which continues the traditionof these watches production.
Pangaea Day Date kept one of the main features of these watches – a long “needle” hand, that reaches to the edge of the dial. This model has two independent disks, located just below the dial, which display the date and day of the week. As the disks are moving, the values can be read using the red line at the position “12h” and the red triangle.
The watch is powered by automatic Sellita SW 220-1 movement. Its case is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 40mm and height of 10.5mm. The watch has glass made of sapphire, and the back cover is transparent. Declared water resistance of this model is 50m. It is available with black, white and cream colored dials and its price is 1.890,00 € (EU VAT).
